Problem:

The marsh buggy pontoons are subjected to high abrasion from working in wet, sandy conditions. Consequently, the commonly used three-coat system of zinc, epoxy, and urethane is worn away in just a few weeks of service.

Solution:

One coat of CeRam-Kote 54® was applied directly to the blasted steel surface of the pontoons of a new marsh buggy. It has been in service for more than two years, requiring only minimal touch up and occasional cleaning. The customer has been very satisfied with the application and has applied CeRam-Kote 54® to several more marsh buggy pontoons.
