Problem:

Rotary tables are subjected to spillage of various drilling chemicals during drilling activities. The top surface of the table receives a considerable amount of foot traffic. The drilling environment is highly corrosive and abrasive. The company was looking for a coating that would protect against corrosion and abrasion and would have a longer inservice life than previous coatings used.

 

Solution:

The customer selected CeRam-Kote 54® for the rotary table because they could apply the CeRam-Kote 54® anti-skid system without having to change paint systems, saving application time.

The rotary table was coated for corrosion and abrasion protection and the anti-skid system was applied to the table deck for employee safety.

The customer liked the ability to touch up any damage incurred during transporting the equipment to the drilling site.

CeRam-Kote 54® has a long history of success in drilling environments and is expected to provide many years of service to the rotary table.
