Problem:

High iron particle content in city water had a staining effect on the concrete pool.  The owner felt it necessary to empty, acid wash and fill the pool many times during the short summer season for best performance.

Constant acid washing provided more and more surface area for particles to settle into and discolor the pool.

 



 

Solution:
Prior to opening for the summer season, the pool was again pressure washed, acid washed and the pool coated with CeRam-Kote 99P pool paint.

Result:
Because the pool surface is now smooth, the iron particles have no place to settle, the pool stays brilliant white and requires only normal
maintenance.
